800m x 34:04 – much slower – even much slowerI’m just glad I made myself do this one. I knew it was coming. I’m committed to getting my running back to where it was a few years ago. I used to see a rounder with 400s and be glad! So I’m warming up with a 400m every workout.I hate that distance, though – 800m. I can’t pace it correctly. I know how a 1 min 400m feels. I know how a 6 min mile feels. I know how a sub 20 min 5k feels. 800m? I just can’t. I should hit that at under 3 minutes (once I’m back on running) but I don’t know that I ever will.One thing I’m proud of is that I didn’t walk any of it. I almost stopped after the first. I had to ignore my brain telling me to drop to 400m. So this was a good exercise in will power.
